BEN GOUGEON

Actor. dIRECTOR. writer.
VOICE OVER. acting coach.

Welcome! I'm glad you're here. Whatever aspect of my work you're checking out, I'm grateful for you.

Originally from northern Michigan, I began acting at the age of 9 in the many theaters in my small town, and continued my training at Western Michigan University (BA) and Western Illinois University (MFA).  After graduating from WIU, I moved to NYC to continue my career, and have steadily worked on camera and mics, Off & Off-Off Broadway, on tour, and regionally ever since. In 2019 I moved back to the Midwest to start a family, and currently serve as Events Coordinator at Quad City Arts.

You may have seen me on shows such as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Law & Order: SVU, Bull, The Deuce, Little America, Comedy Central, or in any number of commercials. Or maybe you caught me on a stage near you, having performed in almost every state east of the Mississippi, and a couple west. Whatever brings you here, I hope that we can work together in some way.

In addition to my theatre and filmmaking, I also enjoy painting, photography and cycling, and love working on my 1915 Prairie/Craftsmen home, @broadwaybrennanhouse (Insta), with my partner Liz and our kiddos. All my best, and hope to see you on a stage or screen soon!
